pork belly and fungus stew

Ingredients

anise start - 2
bay leaf - 2
pork belly - inch cubes
garlic - 4 cloves
ginger - thumb piece, large slices
chuo hao sauce - big soup spoon
black fungus - square inches
salt
sugar
soya sauce
white pepper
oyster sauce
sesame oil

Method

soak black fungus for at least 4 hours in cold water

cut garlic, ginger

cut belly pork into inches cubes. brown with oil then rest

brown garlic, ginger. add sauce, salt, sugar, soya sauce, white pepper, oyster sauce, sesame oil.

re add meat and add fungus. simmer for 35 minutes. or less if pressure cooker
